When we say Kambakkht Ishq has everybody, we mean everybody! We were half-expecting Barack Obama in it. The flick seems more like an ad for the United Nations than a movie.
Akshay Kumar jumps borders again in this cross-culture action flick directed by Sabir Khan, playing an extremely successful stuntman!

The movie stars (hope you're sitting down for this), Kareena Kapoor, Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards, Amrita Arora, Brandon Routh, Aftab Shivdasani and yes, many more!

Shot across the West, Kambakkht Ishq's plot revolves around Akshay Kumar who plays a successful Hollywood stuntman in search of true love. And Kareena plays a surgeon who moonlights as a supemodel to make enough money. They can't stand each other and sporadic fights break out between the lead pair.

The film promises the usual incredible Akki-style stunts, Kareena's pouts and, surprise, Amrita takes off her clothes too!

Kambakkht Ishq releases on May 29.

Akshay Kumar ‘Unbuttoned’ at Lakme Fashion Week

Actor Akshay Kumar’s daredevil act of asking his wife Twinkle Khanna to unzip his jeans in a fashion show, causing outrage among the audience.

The Bollywood film star almost forced his wife to unbutton him at the Lakme Fashion Week function in Mumbai. Though Akshay was unveiling the ‘Unbuttoned’ brand of Levi’s Jeans of which he is ambassador, the act surprised the audiences.

The cameras also captured the act, which was described by many as ’shocking’. A Mumbai-resident has filed a complaint with the police and sought an FIR against Kumar for the indecent act.

The police said that they were examining whether a wife unzipping her husband can be termed an offence. “We have to make sure that it was obscene act and the case is strong enough to stand in a court of law”, said a police officer.

Though the actor later said that he sought apology from anybody who felt hurt by his act, the complainant Anil Nair said that it doesn’t behove an actor like Kumar to publicly commit such a vulgar act.

Akshay promotes Levis 501 Jeans

My butt looks good in jeans: Akshay Kumar, Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar, who is the brand ambassador of Levis jeans, says his butt looks good in the denim.'Though the company has used various words to describe its new product, what I can say is that my butt looks good in the jeans,' Akshay said at the launch of the Levis 501 brand here Tuesday.Akshay, 40, who is riding high on the success of his recent release 'Singh Is Kinng', will be seen in a series of ad campaigns for the brand.
The first television commercial will go on air Wednesday, 'I have maintained myself well and I can carry any product that targets youth. I endorse products which I believe in,' said Akshay.

'I strongly believe that Levis is a good brand and I have been associated with it since my childhood.The first jeans that my father bought for me was a pair of Levis,' said Akshay who is the first Indian celebrity to have been incorporated by the company for endorsement. -IANS Feeds

Akshay a replacement to SRK?

Superstar Akshay's demand has increased by leaps and bounds. Akshay's good show with every passing film has positioned him among the top league. And with Singh Is Kinng's fantabulous success Akshay has become the most sought after actor of the industry. Many filmmakers are showing their desire to work with Akshay. And one such filmmaker who has shown his keen interest is the ace filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the man behind the successful Munna Bhai flicks.

Apparently Vidhu initially approached SRK but for some reasons SRK backed out of the project. And so he approached Khiladi Kumar with the idea while he was attending the success bash for Singh Is Kinng. As per few reports, Vidhu was seen chatting constantly with Akki throughout the bash. He left no stone unturned to let him know how much he loved him in Singh Is Kinng and his other releases. In fact he even made it a point to offer him a lift back home so that he could talk business on the way.

Hope we could soon see the new 'King' of Bollywood in Vidhu's film.
